We have painted anxiety as a bad thing but it hasn’t always been this way, in fact, it all depends on how you look at it. When we are young, we innately have these ‘Fight and Flight’ responses from loud noises or things that startle us. As we grow up, we perceive the world as a collection of experiences to which we either have a negative association to or a positive one. All of this serves a specific purpose: our survival.
For instance, when we see a large animal, we automatically react to its presence with fear and anxiety which is good. Those reactions force us to respond to the threat by ‘fighting’ or ‘flighting’ so that we can survive. Nowadays, those threats are not as prevalent and the threats we experience are mental. For example, worrying about what our peers think of us, whether we measure up to our parent's ideals of success, or whatever else it may be. But what we don’t realize - or our subconscious doesn’t realize, is that anxiety is not a helpful reaction when it comes to these examples. In fact, it holds us back from living our best life. It is the cause of stress and often times the root of insomnia issues. With hypnosis, you can transform your reaction to anxiety, actually gain control over it, and start living life again!
